I am pleased to announce that Brian Gould will be joining BIC as the future Executive Director effective November 2nd.. Brian will transition into the position during the balance of the year by learning the many aspects of the position from Vicki Kitchin, our current Executive Director, who announced her retirement effective the end of this year.
Brian comes to BIC from AIM, the state association for cities and towns in Indiana, where he served as their Government Affairs Director.. Brian worked with Vicki and the coalition on the passage of HEA 1002-2017 and is an experienced lobbyist and governmental affairs professional who has a burning passion for infrastructure investment.
Brian has a Public Affairs degree from Indiana University and is currently pursuing his MBA from Colorado State University.. Brian is a veteran who served in the United States Army where he held the position of Armor Commissioned Officer being responsible for over 100 soldiers and civilians.
Brian lives in Westfield and is married with three children.. His wife is a practicing nurse.
